A Spring Window Display...

Daffodils
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw it at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee:
In such a jocund company:
I gazed- and gazed-but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie in vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Spring Yellow and Green Kitchen Display

Welcome!
I am Happy you could join me today!
I hope all is well!
I sure am ready for Spring to come!
Today I am very excited to show you my Spring Yellow and Green Kitchen Display!

A bright Green pitcher of Lemonade
with fresh lemon slices inside it and these dainty jelly jar glasses with Yellow tulips on them make this vintage  table display in my Kitchen Pop with color!

Lemon filled Cookies are a perfect match to be served with Lemonade.

Slices of lemon garnish the edges of the vintage jelly jar tulip glasses.
People would buy these jars of jelly and then re-purpose them by using them as   drinking glasses.

A Vintage Kitchen Towel
has the word "Tuesday" and a lemon embroidered on it. A vintage kitchen would have had one for everyday of the week.We call these "tea towels" where I am from and they would have been made from feed sacks.

These lemon filled cookies are very delicious! This vintage plate is designed by Texas Ware.

I made this arrangement by placing Daffodils in this empty candy tin of Old Fashioned Mint Beauties.

A bright Yellow Gingham apron holds a pocket of flowers! Aprons like this would have been worn everyday by women for cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc.

I used a vintage mirror for the tray the pitcher and glasses are placed on. The yellow 1950's Pyrex mixing bowl belonged to my great-grandmother.

A vintage styled lady would remove her   gloves while she ate and have a handkerchief handy in case it is needed.

Spring of Yellow and Green!

I do thank you for joining me today!
I wish you could sit and enjoy these lemon treats with me!
Hope you can come back again soon!

Vintage St. Patrick's Day Display

Hello friends!
Today I am sharing my Vintage St. Patrick's Day Display.

May the roads rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
- Irish Blessing

My blooming Shamrock is lovely
with it's white and delicate bell shaped flowers.
The Shamrock
is an important part of Irish History
that dates back as far as 1681
when worn as a badge on the lapel
 to the Saint's Feast Day.

I displayed these vintage books hoping to represent Ireland's colors.

Pick A Little Four leaf Clover
( And Send It  Over To Me)
WWI vintage music

A vintage green bottle I picked up at a local Flea Market.

A vintage Avon cologne bottle

I placed A mug and another green vintage Avon cologne bottle in the shape of a pipe on more vintage books.

Thank you for stopping by!
More Vintage Displays to come!
