Vintage Valentine's Day Hutch

A Vintage Valentine's Day Hutch...

I found this cupid picture
at a local Flea Market last month.
I knew I would find the perfect place for it!

Cupid in Latin is "Cupido"
 meaning desire, affection and love.

I also found several of these vintage plates that have this pink rose pattern at a Flea Market.

I Wonder Cupid
When On The Hunt
Will you Capture The One I Want?

Cupid
May this bow of white
Which gives delight,
And which I send you
A token be of love devine
Oh, will't thou be my Valentine?

I used some of my collection of
Pink Depression glass for this hutch display.

For this arrangement
I used a Pink Depression glass candy dish
 and red roses .

I used a vintage Avon bottle and filled it with water and added a few drops of red food coloring.

If you'll only come and be
Just a Valentine to me,
Cupid then will help us be
Sweethearts 'till Eternity.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day
 filled with Love!

A Vintage Valentine's Day Kitchen Display!

A Vintage Valentine's Kitchen Display
 I baked up using a
 Recipe for Love!

I used a vintage heart pan,red and pink mixing bowls, and vintage heart and spade cookie cutters to make this display.

You take the cake Valentine!
I displayed this vintage Valentine inside the heart cake pan.

I was so Thankful to have been gifted this chippy white metal cake lid!

These have to be the most adorable Valentines I have ever seen.
Wouldn't you agree?

One of these days I'll "CATCH" up with you and take you as my Valentine!

You can't stop me now!
 I'm coming full "SPEED" ahead
 for you--my Valentine!

It's about time you asked me to be your Valentine!

I placed this cute little Scarecrow Valentine in the pocket of this vintage apron.
I'm scared you will say "No"

I used twine and hung these vintage Valentines with mini red clothespins and more heart cookie cutters!

Please come back and visit again!
I hope you enjoyed it!

Valentine's Day Porch

My Valentine's Day Porch

My Cupid...
I used floral heart picks and glued foam triangles to the end of the sticks to make arrows for my garden angel.

I used a red vintage lantern,
pink flower bud branches that I placed into this rusty watering can
and a rose kissing ball that I placed into this flower pot
to make this display.

I filled a birds nest with hearts and moss to make a "Love nest".

I hung a vintage frame onto this door and hung this rose wire basket
inside of it.

I placed a garden angel and flower pot into this vintage birdcage.
I placed another nest into the flower pot and put a pretty pink bird in it.
I made hearts out of glitter sticks and hung them from branches that are in this vintage watering can.
I added more moss and hearts to the inside of the grapevine hearts wreath and tied a gold ribbon to hang from the spout of the watering can.

I hope you enjoyed my
Valentine's Day Porch!

Valentine's Day Wreath

Hello Friends!
Today I want to share with you my
Valentine's Day Wreath.

To make this wreath I purchased a grapevine heart shaped wreath from my local craft store.
1.) Spray paint the wreath red.
2.) Cut a strip of burlap material about 3 feet in length and 4 inches across.
(You can also use a wide burlap ribbon that is already cut).
3.)Weave the burlap between the openings of the wreath.
(If your wreath is not made this way you can randomly bunch the burlap up and hot glue the burlap to your wreath).
4.) Use floral snips or (wire cutters) to cut the flowers.(I used pink roses) cut into 5 bunches.
5.) Use floral wire to fasten the flowers to the wreath.

1.)You will need a small Styrofoam heart.
2.)Insert a small hole at the top of the heart and thread a piece of green yarn through  the hole and tie. (This allows you to hang the heart).
3.)Glue and wrap the heart in sheet moss.
4.)Use green thread and wrap  around the heart in every direction.
(This allows things to be tied and displayed on the moss heart).

Personalize:
I took a piece of twine and tied a red heart ornament and Eiffel Tower to the heart. Then
I  placed this tag onto the heart that says,
 "Love You So Much"!
