I hope you have had a good week! Mine has been filled with all kinds of situations because of the Freezing temperatures getting down into the negatives. At one point the weather man said it felt like it was about -40 in our area. (That is wind chill factor)Which(FYI)I learned the skin is more effected by the speed of wind causing it to lose heat. This factor and the temperature outside is what determines the wind chill factor.
My hot water wouldn't work...
Then my toilet would not flush! The toilet finally thawed out and that caused
a pipe to bust in the wall in back of the toilet. (You should have seen me in my pajamas outside in the snow trying to turn off the main water by the street!) My husband rushed home and we ended up having to pull the toilet up and remove flooring and part of the drywall to get out all the moisture. Thankfully it was not too bad and within a few hours we had everything fixed!
It is raining now with the temps above freezing and it is going to be near 60 degrees here this weekend. This weather is crazy, that is for sure! Welcome to Missouri weather! I really am grateful that it is going to be much warmer. My kids have been out of school since before Christmas and have only been able to attend school one day since break because of the weather. I was sooo ready for them to get back to their regular schedule today! Of course, I always love having them home! Everyone needed a break from being around each other 24 hours a day!
