Family Favorite Holiday Dishes and Recipes

I wanted to share with you all some of my families favorite Holiday dishes today.
  Let me start by telling you that these are not low calorie dishes.
It is the Holidays!

 
Hash Brown Casserole
Crock pot Cream Cheese Corn 
Peppermint Cheesecake




Hash Brown Casserole

 


10 cups of frozen shredded hash browns
1/4 cup and 2 tblspns. butter or margarine
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed corn flakes
12 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup milk
 
Preheat oven to 350.
Pour 1/4 cup melted butter into 9x13 baking dish.
Add 5 cups of hash browns.
Mix soup, sour cream, and milk in a separate bowl.
Pour half the mixture over hash browns.
Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top.
Add remaining hash browns and mixture on top.
Sprinkle on remaining cheese, then cover with crushed corn flakes. Drizzle 2tblspns of butter on top.
Cover with foil and Bake for 1 hour.
 
 





 







Cream Cheese Crock pot Corn

4 cans of whole kernel corn
2-8oz blocks of cream cheese
1 tblspn of sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 stick of butter

Put corn and cream cheese into crock pot add sugar, salt and pepper, butter. Cook on high for one hour or until corn is cooked thoroughly stirring occasionally.





 
 
 
 
 
 




Peppermint Cream Cheese Pie

Already made cookie crumb/graham cracker crust or follow instructions on box.
Jello no bake cheese cake mix
Hershey's kisses Candy Cane Mint Candies
1 tblspn. milk

Mix cheese cake  mix according to instructions on box.
Unwrap 30 Hershey's kisses add milk and put into a microwave safe bowl. 
Microwave on medium for one minute. Stir.
Microwave 15 sec. at a time checking and stirring until candies are melted.  
Place 3/4 of Hershey's kisses candy mixture into cheesecake batter and stir.
Add cheese cake mixture to crust
Drop tablespoonful of Hershey's kisses candy mixture onto batter. 
Swirl with knife to make marble effect.
Place into refrigerator for 1 hour.
Top with whip cream and candy pieces.
